the preston parade and carnival

for those of you who don't know about the preston night rodeo(s), let me tell you a little bit about it. it's a 3 day celebration that begins each evening with a parade. yes, i said each evening there is a parade. it's the same parade every night, only it gets longer and presumably better each night. then everyone heads to the carnival for rides, staring, and gossiping. if you were lucky enough to get tickets to the rodeo one of the three nights or all three nights, you would head there for the rest of the night. i loved going up to preston and being part of this huge (and i really mean huge, cause it's a big deal to most people living in the area) celebration. thanks tracie for inviting me!




this kid's mullet was the best i saw at the carnival. i love it.
