Bear World

After we left the Stewart Reunion, most of us headed to Bear World, just outside of Rexburg, ID. Todd's aunt and uncle own it, and so we were lucky to have a free way in. A couple of years ago when we went there, it was around closing time, and I got the special privilege of going right up to the baby bears and getting a kiss! One of them knew the 'kiss' command and stood up and licked my lips. How cute is that? I didn't get the special treatment this year because there were too many people around. However, as we drove around through the adult bear part of the park, this bear seemed pretty intent on bouncing Todd's brother's car up and down for awhile. His kids thought it was pretty cool.

A couple of the bear cubs. There were quite a few cubs this year. I'd guess maybe 10-12.
Avery taking advantage of the free kid rides there.
And Noah and Olivia doing the same.
Grandpa Stewart talking to a fat giant lazy pig.
This pig made the funniest noises I've ever heard come out of an animal. It was like whiney-grunting-moaning-groaning-leave-me-alone-but that scratching feels good noise. Maybe that's what I sound like when I have to get up in the morning? (Minus the scratching behind the ear part.)

I love your picture of the pig. We always see Bear World on our way to the cabin and have been tempted to stop. One of these days we will have to.
