I realize that it's a bit gross to post a picture of a dead mouse caught in a trap, but I had to take a picture of it because it was such a cute mouse! This little mouse is #12. He was the twelfth mouse I caught during a 5 day killing spree in my laundry room. I live in an old house where there seems to be endless opportunities for mice to come into my home. Luckily, I have a door to my laundry room, and I could confine the little rodents in there. These poor little mice loved peanut butter, and would go after it within 30 minutes of setting the traps. I used to have gerbils and hamsters growing up. I'm sure that's why I think this little mouse is so cute. But I am thinking that Remy might be getting a new pet this spring...perhaps a gerbil? or a mouse, you say? No, a CAT! Hopefully we can find one that the dogs won't eat!

I think the little guy is cute too. I grew up with pet rats!!! But I don't like the mice running around in my house.
Sorry we couldn't make it to the b-day party, I hope you all had a great time. I want to see some pictures.
It almost looks like he is still alive! Good luck with the cat-they don't seem to last at our house even without the dogs!
there is nothing creepier than rodents. sick.
Aaaaaahhhhh! 12?!?!? I freaked out over two mice when we lived in Ohio. I wouldn't even go near them and kept a towel under the door just in case they came back to life after they got caught in the trap. That's why you're burley, C-dawg. You set the traps, take the pictures, and dispose of the remains all on your own. :)
Isn't it crazy how fast the first year goes by? That first birthday always makes me a bit sad - they aren't little babies any more. She's so cute. I love those little teefers.
i am still screaming!!! and the picture!!! you are way to brave, or crazy!! cute, maybe, but it's still a gross mouse. i think remy will love a cat...and you will too! AH!!!! :)
