I blew up some 5x7's of Remy as a newborn, 6 months-ish, and almost 1 year. I thought these monkey holders were so cute
Oooh, these cupcakes were a delight. Red Velvet with Pilsbury Easy Frost Cream Cheese Frosting. It was so easy to make these cupcakes actually look cute!
I did not plan for Remy's shirt and her birthday wrapping paper to match almost exactly...but they did.
This is Remy's 'bonk bonk'. If you say 'bonk bonk' to her. She starts wacking her head. It's funny and she knows she's funny.
Opening presents. Beware: Do NOT touch Remy's presents, or she screams. Or gives you the death scowl. (see below, as she's clutching her beloved new baby doll, and mom tries to look pleasant)
I made her a blanket with a matching baby doll blanket.
I loved this cute birthday hat my sister Suzanne made for Rem, but poor Remy was not liking wearing it. Look at that sad face in our family photo.

The Cupcake Consuming: A play by play--
1. not too sure about this, 2. feels a bit squishy, 3. maybe i'll give it a try, 4. dad says, aw com'on dig in! here, take a bite!
5. is this really okay, mom? 6. mom, do you really have to take so many photos? i'm trying to eat,
7. kinda likin' it, 8. goin' for a big bite
9. shoving in the big bite, 10. oh, man, now my hands are really messy, 11. here, you try some dad!
12. i'm going to shove it in your face now!

Can you seriously believe that our babies are 1!!! They aren't babies anymore and we still haven't gotten them together!!! So cute!!!!

Happy Birfday Remy! I remember your mom being large and in charge over Christmas just waiting for you to come out....and now you are 1! :)Time really does go by so fast. Those cupcakes looks yummy. I always document the eating/mess-fest like that too. She is so cute. Just love those dark eyes.
