Sun Valley October 2011 Part 2

After staying the night in Stanley (instead of camping at Red Fish Lake) we biked a 17 mile trail through gorgeous fall colors, and miles of burnt tree forest. All the burned trees, bare ground, and silence (from the almost complete lack of any sort of animal) made it seem we were somewhere so foreign and almost un-earthly.













After the ride, we drove back up to the beginning of the trail to get some more fall color shots:















On our way home, we stopped by some ice caves. They were closed, so we didn't get to check em out.










We also stopped in Shoshone, ID at a little bowling alley mid-day for some lunch and a game. I totally beat Todd and yes, I had to take a photo of the score.
