The cemetery was so, so beautiful this year with everything so green. We did our annual walk to the cemetery Sunday night. After the walk we had yummy dessert at my house. Most everyone from my family was able to come up for the day, if not the night before. But Monday morning, everyone met at my little house before we headed to the cemetery and the canyon. It was pretty rainy outside, so naturally everyone came inside. I counted 29 people on the main floor all together at once. That's a very full house. I hope Grandma was proud. I'm sure she had at least that many family members all together, if not more, many times in this house. How could she have not, with nine kids?
This is my aunt Lila. She is the one of my mom's older sisters and is always a hoot to listen to.
Every Memorial Day, we rent out the lodge up at the power plant in Blacksmith Fork Canyon. These wall hangings have been there for as long as I can remember. Also the above fire place, I have a picture of me sitting on the ledge when I was a toddler. We've been coming here for years and years. It is an informal reunion for my mom's side of the family.

I'm sad I missed it.
I'm prejudiced, but I think little Sarah Jane is the cutest little girl in the whole world.
