Today I was a spectator of the Boston Marathon! My sister Suzanne and her husband Brian ran the marathon. I've never seen so many people in my life. I actually did get to see both Suzanne and Brian, which is pretty good considering the fact that I had only a small idea what time they would go running past me. I also got to see Lance Armstrong! He was sporting his yellow LIVESTRONG shirt and had a little posse around him. I love being in the midst of marathons. There is this air of achievement and accomplishment that is so positive and everyone is so happy for all of the runners. Anyway, it was really great to watch, except for a little bit of dizziness from watching so many people running in front of me. There were over 25,000 runners. Suzanne and Brian both ran great and are still feeling good. So, great job to them!
We've been here since Wednesday night, and the weather has been fantastic. We've been able to see lots of sights and eat lots of great food. We also went to a Red Sox game and Ortiz 'Big Poppy' hit a grand slam. Going to Fenway Park was like going to another world in itself. We were so ashamed that we didn't have any clothing on that said Red Sox--total minorities in our regular street clothes. Oh, and also total minorities without two beers in our hands.
Anyway, I'll post photos when I get home. The above photo is from Google Images.

I have always wanted to go to Boston - it seems like a great city! I can't wait to see more pics. It will only be six hours from our new home :) You'll have to fill me in on all of the must do's. Major League Baseball games are so fun - I hope you had a hot dog with all the fixins! xoxo
