So, our President's Day weekend was spent continuing the flooring on into our living room and painting galore--as in, many coats of paint for that orange and cream to look halfway decent. It ended up being a lot of work, but Todd and I are so, so happy with the results. It's so fun to redo and remodel and make our home, our home.

I wonder if my grandma picked out this carpet color. It's pretty sweet. Would I have liked it better than the beige carpet I just ripped out? Prolly not.
