Night at the Emmies!
My calling right now is Relief Society Meeting Coordinator. In April we had our RS birthday dinner and themed it 'Night at the Emmies'. We handed out Emmy awards to the 18 year old girls coming into RS and to the over 80 ladies of our ward. We learned about each spot-lighted sister's favorite things, unique interests, and fun personalities. We had a fresh salad and pasta bar for the dinner and it was such a light and refreshing meal. I snapped a few quick photos before we got started. My friend Jane who is in the RS presidency and oversees the meetings had this amazing vision of this 'night at the emmies'. She also has great friends that have so many decorations. Otherwise there is no way I could have pulled this off. So I'm giving Jane all the credit, and I just helped her when needed!
