Our garden this year has done okay. It hasn't been a crazy coming-out-of-our-ears type of year, and so it's been nice. Of course there are those zuchinis and squashes that hide or get forgotten and get huge that have to be thrown to the donkeys, but other than that, I've been pretty good about eating what we've grown. Our most favorite favorite neighbors are so so kind to share whatever they grow with us. We've loved their peaches, Nashi pears, and blackberries. I love watching Remy learn to pick the ripe fruit and taste all the new fresh flavors. I've already mentioned that she loves raspberries, and once the grapes ripened, her (and Marley) couldn't get enough. I remember Todd came in the house and proudly announced that he got to show Remy how to pick and eat the grapes. When we picked all the grapes and got them ready to juice, she ate way too many. I know this, because of the grape seed filled diaper I later had to take care of. Ew. I know. It's gross. Sorry. But such is my life when I have a girl that poops three times a day.
Anyway, on to some pictures now....
