Todd and I always have this worry in the back of our heads that one day we'll find Sam to have peacefully slipped away while sleeping, or to not find her at all because she went off somewhere to die. It's a reality that those scenarios could happen all too soon. I hate thinking about it, but when I see how stiff she is when she gets up in the morning, or watch her back legs give out on her as she's climbing stairs, I know she's getting old. I've had her since I was 17. We love our trusty dog Sam.
Remy fell off a tricycle and somehow only landed on her cheek. Poor road rash. It looks great now, but after it happened it looked like this:
'That's a very nice purple dress. It's very purpley.'-- Elf
My dad called and offered his new refridgerator's box to us. My neighbor Emily and I had a little too much fun with it as we decorated it with chalk. Remy enjoyed popping in and out of the door and adding her own personal touches to it with the chalk.

The first pictures of her road rash look kinda like a rose! Before I read right below it explaining, I was debating with myself whether that was a scrape or a little tattoo. :) - She even falls with style!
