Sweet reminder

Tonight, our little girl gave me a sweet reminder of the fact that valiant and strong spirits were truely saved til these last days to be sent to earth.  I was super busy in the kitchen, trying to hurry and throw together some chicken alfredo and pasta while Remy clinged to my legs whining.  She was way hungry and her snacks were not enough.  Everything was finally done and I threw some on a plate, stuck Rem in her chair, and started to dig in.  I had a spoonful of pasta and sauce ready to shove into the starving baby's mouth because she kept making her 'eh, eh, eh!' sound, which normally means she needs something, which I figured to be the spoonful of food I was blowing off.  But no, she didn't want it!  I couldn't figure out what she was trying to do.  She had her hands folded on top of each other and kept eh eh ehing (just imagine a mag-pie (bird) and that's what she sounds like).  *click* We hadn't BLESSED the food yet!  She was folding her arms for the prayer.  Seriously.  What a sweet heart and a smarty-pants.  I asked her if she was ready for the prayer and she nodded her head with a big smile.  After I finished the prayer, she chowed down the pasta and chicken.  It really hit me hard that we have such a strong and amazing little spirit in our home.  I really hope we can teach her all that she needs to reach her ultimate potential.

This is a picture from a few weeks ago after Remy polished off a slice of pizza.  What a goof.

Isn't that how it goes? I think that's why we have kids...to help us be better people. She is so cute. Can't believe she is so BIG!
