Colorado & Moab
This is near Fruita, Colorado. We pulled into the trailhead around 3 AM. Remy and I slept in the back of the truck while Todd slept in the cab. (We were too tired to pull everything out of the truck to make room for all three of us.) At 6 AM we were nicely awakened by runners and bikers hitting the trails before the heat. So, we started our day nice and early. Todd went for a ride, Remy and I hung out and went for a hike, Todd came back, I went for a ride (loved the trail--had a blast) and then Todd went for another ride.
I saw this house on my hike. Look how it's built right into the rock. I thought it was pretty cool.
The next night in Moab we stayed in JAIL. Right close to the BROTHEL. It was a nice little cabin with cable TV, free wi-fi, AC, and a mini-fridge. What else could you want? I guess a bathroom would have been nice, but the public bathrooms were nice and clean. For the price, it was a great two night stay!
Todd and his buddy Brandon rode the upper part of Porcupine Trail. The start was foggy and soggy. They had to carry their bikes for 3/4 mile because of the mud/clay. But the rest of the ride was really fun for them. About 20 miles long and it took them 4 hours to do. I was with Brandon's girlfriend and we drove around and took some pictures that I'll post later. Once we got back to Moab, Remy and I killed time walking around town before we went to pick up Todd. It is so funny how much attention a little baby can get when you wear her in a wrap. I guess when she's front and center bobbing around on the front of me, kicking her legs, and looking around with her big bright eyes, she can't help but get a lot of attention.

You guys really are turbo. Tur-bo! She must be one awesome baby! All those pics are awesome. Love the one of Remy flying in front of the arch. I've never actually been to Moab...sad. Someday.
Yay for road trips. Looks like a blast. We need to head up the canyon for a roast soon!
